What is provided by the captain for our trip?

  • Firstly, the boat is licensed and has everyone on board covered. Secondly, all of the fishing rods and reels will be provided on the boat. Bait will either be on the boat or we will catch it quickly on our way to our first spot. The fishing vessel is equipped with life jackets and all other required safety gear. We will have coolers on the boat with ice and water provided. You may bring a small cooler (no wheels) on the boat if you would like to but please remember space is limited.

What should I bring?

Please bring sunscreen that is NON-SPRAY, as spray sunscreen can harm the exterior of the boat. You may bring whatever food and drinks you would like, but I will have bottled water provided for you on the boat. Consider bringing a rain jacket/windbreaker just in case along with a hat and sunglasses.

What should I leave at home?

  • Bananas

  • Glass Bottles or Containers

  • Workboots or Black Soled Shoes

  • Spray Sun Screen

  • Coolers, especially coolers with Wheels

Where should we meet the captain for our charter?

Lemon Island Bridge Landing. After arriving at Boat Landing, park your vehicle. As you approach the water, keep to the far right side and you will find Capt. Jonathan awaiting on the dock.

How early should we arrive for our trip?

Make sure you get to the dock 5-10 minutes before your trip and have your directions squared away the night before to avoid any hiccups the day of.

We have a child under the age of 12 attending, what are the rules?

  • Children under 12 must wear life jackets at all times while on the boat.

  • We can provide life jackets to children, however our life jackets are built for saving lifes, and not built for comfort.

  • You can purchase an effective and comfortable life jacket from Walmart or Dicks Sporting Goods if that option suits you and your family best.

How do you accept payments?

Cash, Venmo or Credit Card.


Is tipping customary?

Yes, typically a 15%-20% tip is customary in this industry.

How many people can we bring on the boat?

Anywhere from 1-3 people can be accommodated on our boat. In some cases, 3 total can be included if you have a family with small children. The maximum weight capacity is 800 lbs. This is to ensure a safe and comfortable ride on our boat and keeping well within the weight limits the boat is certified for.
